Dr. Tzatzani Theresa, Researcher in charge of the Subtropical Plants Laboratory, holds a PhD in Horticulture and Propagation of Subtropical Plants, is involved in research on subtropical crops and participates in research projects on avocados (https:\/\/elgo.iosv.gr\/staff-member\/tzatzani-thiresia-tereza\/<\/a>). The Subtropical Plants Laboratory maintains the National Collection of avocado varieties in an area of 10 hectares. Dr. Tzatzani will participate in the creation of propagating material of appropriate specifications, which will be the first ‘provasic-type’ avocado plantation in Greece for the distribution of controlled domestic propagating material within the framework of the AVOCADO project until the creation of the regular provasic plantation according to the legal specifications. To date he has published more than 8 articles on subtropical crops (https:\/\/www.researchgate.net\/profile\/Thiresia-Teresa-Tzatzani<\/a>).
