The proposed Business Plan utilizes the research experience of two major research institutions in Greece, the Institute of Olive, Subtropical Plants Vine (ELGO-DIMITRA) and the Benaki Phytopathological Institute (BPI) on plant protection issues, transmitting this experience both to the members of the Agricultural Cooperative of Producers of Organic products of Chania and to other avocado producers, through the dissemination of research results (website, brochure video etc. ).
With the implementation of the project we expect:
The main result, apart from the reduction of production costs, the reduction of chemical use and the transfer of plant protection knowledge, is the production of a product with a smaller environmental footprint, safer for the consumer and with added value.
